RunSignup | GiveSignup is the leading all-in-one platform for endurance and fundraising events. With more than 20,000 races per year, supporting over 8,000 nonprofits and other customers we have a responsibility to ensure that our platform is being used responsibly. To that end we have developed a Code of Conduct for our site that will help users understand the basic guidelines for using the RunSignup | GiveSignup site for races, events and raising money for charitable causes.

Raising money for charitable causes
Using our store and add-on functionality to sell items that complement your event like, T-shirts, hats, mugs and other race and event related merchandise
Using artwork, logos, videos and photos that you create, own or license to customize your individual race or event site on RunSignup
Engaging sponsors and displaying their logos and artwork on your event site
Using our free email marketing to promote your event and other events that you own or operate
Using all of the free tools and resources we provide to elevate your event and raise more money
Listing events or raising money for political candidates, parties or organizations or using images of politicians, parties or political organizations to promote races or events
Selling inappropriate or illegal items on our site or items that are not reasonably associated with an endurance race or fundraising event
Using unlicensed trademarks, copyrights, images, photos, videos or other intellectual property that infringes the rights of others
Promoting harmful, offensive, hateful, inappropriate or illegal activities or events on our site
Using inappropriate, pornographic, hateful or offensive content or images on our site
Listing races or events that harass or express hate towards any race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, lifestyle or veteran status
Creating unprofessional race or event listings or content with inappropriate language or numerous misspellings or grammatical errors
Not responsibly handling data and access to data on our site
Notes: If we determine that your race or event has violated our Code of Conduct, in our sole discretion, we may remove or update content that is in violation or we may remove your race or event from our site and/or take any actions we deem necessary to remove offending races, events and content from our site. We may also decline to list any of your future races and events on our site. This Code of Conduct policy is not exhaustive and we will update it from time to time. Check back often to make sure our guidelines have not changed. If you notice a violation of our Code of Conduct that you think we should be aware of please send an email to with a link to the race page and information on the violation.
