I agree that I am a member of Team IBProFun, and I know that running in organized group runs social events, and races with this Club are potentially hazardous activities which could cause injury or death. I will not participate in any Team IBProFun organized events, group training runs, or social events unless I am medically able and properly trained. By my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform all activities associated with Team IBProFun, am in good health and am properly trained. I agree to abide by all rules established by Team IBProFun, including the right of Team officials to deny or suspend my participation for any reason. I assume all risk associated with being a Member of and participating in Team IBProFun activities. I agree to abide by this rule. I understand that no one in the group is responsible for my comfort or safety. I will be prepared with adequate gear and supplies for activities I participate in. It is my responsibility to evaluate any activity I participate in and decide whether I am prepared wit the experience, skill, knowledge, equipment, and physical/emotional stamina to safely participate. Organizers and members are not professional leaders, guides, trainers, or mountaineers. Their function is only to organize the activity. Each person (and their guest or guests) present for a trip/run/meetup is responsible for his/her own safety. By attending a group run, hike, or organized event, I acknowledge that I am aware of the associated risks, dangers, and hazards and freely accept and fully assume all such risk, dangers, and hazards. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of my membership approval, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Team IBProFun, the city of Bakersfield, and the Road Runners Club of America, and Club sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities arising from y participation with Team IBProFun, though that liability may result from negligence or carelessness on the part of persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recording or any other record for any legitimate promotional purposes for Team IBProFun. Code of Conduct Due to the increasing popularity of the Team IBProFun Facebook Group - and in order to maintain healthy, friendly and community has formally drafted the following ‘Code of Conduct’. This is to ensure that social media continues to work as a constructive communication platform for our running team. Below are basic guidelines, which all Team IBProfun participants should adhere to: Please show respect and courtesy to all users of these forums. No advertising, recruiting, or personal gain. No offensive language. No politics, religion or inappropriate comments will be allowed. No profanity, negative comments, rudeness, and disrespectful behavior. Please avoid personal attacks, slurs, and profanity in your interactions. This includes refraining from racist and/or sexist comments and attacks. Treat one another with civility and respect. Any hostile, derogatory or deliberately insulting comments towards a specific individual or group. The social media page/group has been set up as a community forum for all Team IBProFun residents of all ages. It is, therefore, an open page/group available to all. The Social Media Admin team reserve the right to remove any comment at any time for any reason. Please Note: If a portion of a comment is inappropriate, the entire comment can be deleted. Team IBProFun does not wish to remove/block any participants and users from the Facebook page/group, the Admin team reserve the right to remove/block any users who continually flout the Code of Conduct guidelines set out above. Depending on the severity of the user’s conduct, in the first instance, a warning may be given with an example of the issue provided. However, if the user continues in the same vein, they will be removed/blocked from the page/group forthwith.
