The Virginia Track Coaches Association (VTCA) exists to strengthen, support, and grow the sport of track and field and cross-country across the Commonwealth of Virginia. VTCA brings together coaches from every level of the sport—middle school, high school, collegiate, and club programs—to build a connected coaching community dedicated to athlete development and excellence.

Our mission is to provide meaningful professional development for coaches, high-quality competitive opportunities for athletes, and leadership that helps move the sport forward statewide. By uniting coaches across disciplines and levels, VTCA plays a key role in shaping the future of track and field and cross-country in Virginia.

Throughout the year, VTCA hosts a series of cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track invitationals that are thoughtfully organized and coach-driven. These events are designed to create positive competitive experiences while supporting schools and programs through efficient meet management and fair entry standards.

Annual VTCA membership is $35. Membership dues directly support VTCA operations, events, and scholarships, ensuring the continued growth and sustainability of the organization and the sport.
