Amrita-Seattle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the most vulnerable at-risk youth, children, and communities through its mission of Live to Serve. For over 15 years, we have been addressing critical needs both locally in King County, WA, and globally in rural India and Nepal.
Locally, Amrita-Seattle provides essential support to at-risk, unsheltered youth, young adults, and marginalized communities. Our programs of nutritious hot meals, Grab n' Go Meals, and outdoor survival resources, include partnerships with Teen Feed, King County's Share/Wheel Tent Cities, ROOTS Shelter, Tiny Cabins Safe Harbor, and Sophia Way.
Globally, Amrita-Seattle is committed to breaking the cycle of poverty in underserved rural communities in India and Nepal. Using a community-driven model, our initiatives focus on serving the child as a whole, through education, health and hygiene, and social-emotional support. By fostering sustainable employment opportunities and equipping individuals with the tools to thrive, we aim to create lasting change that uplifts entire communities.
