Grit and Growth is not only the title of Tree Street Youth's 10 year anniversary but i think it resonates with each of us. The past two years have been challenging at the least and we have all needed to reach deep within ourselves and challenge what once was "normal". We have now adapted to what may be our new normal, but it was not without grit and emotional, metal, and physical growth!
Last year I attempted to summit Lost Valley 118 times to raise money for getting youth outdoors. Within only two weeks time i was able to raise over $1000 dollars and i could not do that without the support of the communities around me!
This year is a transition year as we strive to make this a much larger event. Although only 4hrs the challenge remains, climb as many times as possible to raise money for our youth and give the opportunity to experience all of what Maine's great outdoors can provide them.
