The Arc Employment Center is excited to join The Arc, Ocean County Chapter at the 22nd Annual Step Up for The Arc Walk and Inaugural 5K to celebrate individuals with disabilities in Ocean County on Saturday May 18th, 2024!
The Arc, Ocean County Chapter is a non-profit organization that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ocean County. We provide Residential, Vocational, Recreation and Family Supports to all of Ocean County and Support Coordination to the surrounding counties.
The Arc Employment Center supports individuals who face barriers to competitive employment in the community by providing vocational training to those that we serve. The AEC runs a production and assembly service, warehouse service, and shredding service. The AEC has a cleaning service (ACS) that provides contracted services to companies in the community. The AEC also has a PASSE Program (Pathways to Achieving Successful Supported Employment) to bridge the gap between the AEC and Supported Employment to help our individuals gain the skills necessary to be successful in future competitive employment.
The Walk-A-Thon and 5K event are a fundraising effort to show the community who we are and what we do! It is a great opportunity to come out and meet the staff and the individuals that we serve. Below I have a few links that I would appreciate if you could check out! The AEC is raising money to assist the individuals that attend the Program.

*You can register for the family-fun day/walk and the 5K event here as well. Once you enter your information, it will ask you to join a fundraising team. For now, our team is called "Arc Employment Center".
*If you sign up for the 5K, there is a 30$ sign-up fee toward the event which will count toward the 50$ incentive for the T-Shirt.
