As many of you know, my daughter, Kassandra aka “Kassi” or “Kaki” had a long hard fought battle with cervical cancer. She was diagnosed in 2014 and lost her battle in March 2019 - five days after her 30th birthday. She was a fighter to the very end. We love and miss her SO incredibly much. To honor our Kassi, please consider walking with us on Oct 4th or just simply make a donation in her name. I, along with my family, appreciate all the love and support in honoring our beloved Kassi.

In Indiana in 2025—42,150 people are expected to be diagnosed with cancer and 14,080 are expected to lose their lives to cancer. Hoosiers Outrun Cancer raises funds for Cancer Support Community (CSC) programs—providing free support to ANYONE impacted by cancer. A few examples of how CSC helps families in our community are: counseling & support groups, nutrition & exercise classes, oncology massage therapy, reiki, cancer education, social connections, food & transportation assistance, wigs, comfort kits, and so much more.

Raising money to support this cause is important to the KassLove Team because while Kassi was not in the Monroe County area at the time of her journey until the end, she was able to get the support she needed along the way. CSC programs provide this together with the support of the community and the community support is SO vital. Please consider donating, even if it is minimal. Every penny is worthy and important to every cancer patient.
