DONNA Marathon Weekend

As I train for The National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer, I am fundraising to support The DONNA Foundation! Will you join me in supporting the Foundation's mission to provide financial assistance and support to those living with breast cancer and to fund ground breaking breast cancer research? One in eight women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer in their lifetime and after thirty years of clear mammograms I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in July of 2022 on my annual exam. I underwent surgical excision of this tumor, followed by chemo and radiation therapies, finishing up all treatments in late February of this year. In August I was deemed a survivor as my annual mammogram showed "no evidence of disease"! My mother, Lucille went through this in her 80's and with her usual sense of grace and positivity "leaned on the everlasting arms of Jesus" and survived as well. I am excited to participate in the DONNA marathon to "FINISH breast cancer" and hope that you will support me in my efforts.
