Who We Are
OWI was founded in 2004 as a 100% volunteer-led organization dedicated to empowering a poor village in Kenya to care for its most vulnerable members – orphans, widows, the sick and the poor. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty through education, healthcare and hope.
How We Help
Through sponsorships OWI provides:
- School fees, uniforms, school supplies
- Healthcare and supplemental nutrition
- Ongoing social worker support
Lasting Impact
Our success is measured in transformed lives. Children who once had no access to education have been attending school, graduating from high school and even from college, for over two decades. This has enriched lives and opened doors to opportunities that were once out of reach. Together we are building a future defined by education, dignity and hope.
