God gave Mike many gifts which allowed him to live his life fully. Mike told everyone the greatest gift he ever received, at age 13, was his liver transplant. His gifts to God were his courage, his strength, his wisdom, and his inspiration to so many people - in life and in death. In the end, he was a HERO, who gave life and quality of life to many. He donated his heart, lungs, corneas, skin, ligaments, tendons, and long bones. He was one of a handful of people in the United States to be an organ recipient and an organ donor. 

His passion was organ, eye, and tissue donation and his gratitude was unending. Team MAC is one way we continue to celebrate Mike's life and legacy, as well as raise money for Lifebanc.
