JUNE 23, 2014 is a date I will always remember--it marked the beginning of a 15-month journey to battle and defeat Ewing Sarcoma, with the shocking discovery of a tumor on myT10 vertebra. We are excited, uplifted and more than grateful to be celebrating my upcoming eleventh year anniversary of ringing the bell--cancer-free--as of September, 2015. In July of 2015, becoming part of Pittsburgh Cure Sarcoma (PCS) while still undergoing treatment, we first gathered as our team, NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS LET'S CURE SARCOMA, to raise the much needed research funds for combating this dreadful disease--only 1% of all known cancers-- which yearly afflicts 15,000 people, 6,000 of whom tragically lose their valiant battles.
