The Bike Hut is a unique treasure. It is OUR treasure. A place for our beating hearts to rest lounging in the warm sun. Or in eager anticipation as we embark on our upward journey home. There are no other bike huts in the entire Bay Area (dare I say the world) and I am proud and thankful.
And the Bike Hut Classic is the perfect way to recognize Portero Nuevo Farm's generosity, the Abundant Grace Community, and contribute to the charity's mission. On behalf of all the cyclists who regularly simply pass by, refill, and rest, or as a meeting place - thanks. Thanks for being there for all of us.

This July I am riding in the annual Bike Hut Classic fundraiser ride in support of Abundant Grace Coastside Worker and their effort to address the homeless crisis on the Coast.
