I am taking Sweet Steps for Homeless Pets, and joining Homeward Pet Adoption Center's Lollipop Guild!

In celebration of my newest boy, Barley, who I recently adopted from Homeward Pet, I'm asking you to help me transform the lives of cats and dogs like him with a donation in support of the There's No Place Like Homeward 5k Walk/Run!

Your donation will go directly to help dogs and cats that are still in the shelter waiting for their homes.

Two year old Marina has been with Homeward Pet for more than a year now. An active young gal, she enjoys the company of other active dogs and would adore having a hiking and toy partner. She is currently in a dedicated foster home but would really like to have a home of her own. 

Homeward Pet staff really don't understand why this fun and spunky young gal hasn't been just snatched up. She has a unique look and an incredible zest for life that would keep any new family laughing. While her stay has been longer than we'd like, the amount of time it takes to find her home is not an obstacle to the folks at Homeward Pet.  Because of donors like myself (and hopefully you), Homeward Pet can afford to care for animals for as long as it takes to find their new homes. If you aren't in a place to be able to adopt Marina, please join me in helping to provide for her care.          

The donations you make through my fundraising page directly benefit all the cats and dogs that come through the shelter, and assist them in finding their forever homes as well as fund other life-saving programs like behavior training and compassionate medical care to get them ready for their new lives.
