This is our 12th year participating in the Golf Challenge 

     Our inspiration for Tanner’s Team is our Honorary Captain, Tanner. He is a smart, kind and happy teenager who works very hard to try and conquer his challenges.  Our little guy has made many advances in his ability to communicate and socialize with his peers.  However…he still has a long way to go.  As parents…we do not hold Tanner back.  He is very active!

     Shortly after Tanner’s diagnosis in 2013, we were invited to the Els’s home to talk about autism & our experiences.  We left there with a desire to not just help Tanner, but help everyone affected by autism. 

     Over the last 11 years, Tanner’s Team has raised over $633,000 in the Golf Challenge, including 6 Els Cups . We are completely honored & proud to be involved with such a world-class organization.  The continuing growth of The Els Center of Excellence and its worldwide reach is gratifying and keeps us coming back to this event year after year. 

     In 2017 we put Tanner on the waitlist at The Learning Academy which is located at the Els Center of Excellence.  We didn’t know when or if he would ever get in.  To our surprise in July 2020…Tanner GOT IN! Our family has relocated from the Boston area to Jupiter. Tanner started his 5th year at TLA in August.  We pinch ourselves every time we pull on to this awesome campus!
