The Malibu Education Foundation (MEF) is a community-driven nonprofit committed to enriching the academic and personal development of over 1,000 students across Malibu Elementary School, Webster Elementary School, Malibu Middle School, and Malibu High School.
This past year, our schools were deeply impacted by multiple wildfires—including the Palisades, Broad, and Franklin Fires—which forced closures and disrupted more than 20 days of classroom instruction. These disruptions have led to a learning loss crisis, putting increased pressure on school staff, students, and families.
