Story

I am rising up to Illuminate the Fight.

Did you know that most kids get their first smartphones between the ages of 10-13? While this connects them to the world, it also opens doors for predators. Online exploitation is a growing crisis—one we cannot afford to ignore.

The average age for a child to be trafficked in the U.S. is 14 years old.*

Human trafficking is a vast and urgent issue. It is a crime that steals freedom, dignity, and hope from millions of individuals worldwide. If we don’t act now, the cycle of abuse, exploitation, and neglect will continue. Together, we can turn the tide.

I acknowledge that in the digital age that we live in puts our communities under a greater threat than ever before.

I have decided that I have had enough and I am going to do something about it. Human trafficking is a global epidemic and a horrible evil.  It's modern-day slavery.  I can't 'end' the problem, but I can do my part.

Will you please sponsor me as I join with The Asservo Project to raise support and awareness of what it takes to fight this fight?

On September 20, 2025, I will be walking at the M:7 Sports Complex to make a difference in my generation.  All donations go directly to The Asservo Project to promote awareness, education and empowerment to my peers and our communities. You are also supporting Asservo's work with law enforcement agencies to bring predators to justice and help in the recovery and restoration of victims.

Please join me as I help others not become a victim or statistic.  Thank you for your generosity!

*While statistics vary, reports suggest the average age of a child trafficked in the US is 14 years of age.
