My brother, Alvin Prasad, was diagnosed with Myxoid Liposarcoma 10 years ago. On February 7, 2026, Alvin lost his long and courageous battle with cancer.
Throughout his journey, Alvin faced his diagnosis with incredible strength, resilience, and unwavering positivity. He endured intense treatments, including 120 hours of continuous chemotherapy, while exploring every possible option in his fight against this disease.
No matter the challenge, Alvin remained the most positive person throughout his battle. He accepted the cards he was dealt and faced every obstacle with determination and courage.
“I don’t want any pity from anyone — I got this. Every obstacle that comes my way, I remind myself it’s going to be OK. Just do it.”
— Alvin Prasad
