Thank you for supporting Children’s Law Center of Minnesota through the A Brighter Day 5K & Family Walk.

Children’s Law Center of Minnesota is the only nonprofit in the state dedicated to providing free, client-directed legal representation to children and youth in foster care. We represent youth ages 10–21, making sure their voices are heard in court and that they have a say in decisions that affect their lives, their families, and their futures.

Many of the youth we serve have experienced abuse, neglect, multiple foster placements, school changes, and uncertainty about their future. Our volunteer attorneys stand beside them in court, help them understand their options, and advocate for what the youth themselves want — not what others think is best for them, but what the youth want for their own lives.

Your participation in the A Brighter Day 5K helps ensure that children and youth in foster care have:

• An attorney who listens to them
• An advocate who stands beside them in court
• Support as they transition into adulthood
• A voice in decisions that shape their future

We believe every child deserves someone in their corner — someone who will listen, who will stand up for them, and who will make sure their voice is heard.
