Hello friend,
As many of you know, Payton was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma at 15. Through nearly four years of harsh treatments, she never let cancer define her. She kept a 4.0 GPA, loved basketball and golf, volunteered with Girl Scouts, and championed childhood and young adult cancer causes. She adored her family, her dogs Nelli and Hailey, the Milwaukee Brewers, and every sunset. Payton passed away on November 4, 2021—but her light continues to inspire us to act.
Thanks to Race to Cure Sarcoma (RTCS) events, the Sarcoma Foundation of America has invested over $20 million in research—funding 200+ grants across 12 countries and contributing to nearly 200 publications. That early support has sparked $26 million+ in additional funding, 10+ clinical trials (with 5 more pending), and 2 patents. This momentum is saving lives—but we’re not done.
Will you make a gift today in Payton’s honor to help us accelerate the next breakthrough?
Your donation powers the scientists, trials, and innovations that patients and families urgently need.
Thank you for honoring Payton’s legacy with action—and for helping us bring better treatments, and hope, to those facing sarcoma.
With much gratitude,
The Payton Alexander Foundation team!
P.S. Every gift—no matter the size—moves us closer to cures.
