On January 2nd, my wife’s courageous journey with uterine leiomyosarcoma a rare and aggressive cancer came to an end, surrounded by our family. As anyone who met Tiffany knows, she walked this journey entirely on her own terms. She faced every challenge with grace and courage, always carrying that unmistakable Tiffany smile that lit up every room.
This year, we celebrate her life by dedicating this race and every race moving forward to her memory. We honor and remember the most amazing wife, mom, mom-mom, sister, and friend. While Tiffany may no longer be with us physically, she lives deeply within each of us and in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know her.
Because of events like the Race to Cure Sarcoma, the Sarcoma Foundation of America has invested more than $20 million into sarcoma research, funding over 200 grants across 12 countries. These efforts have led to nearly 200 scientific publications, more than $26 million in follow-on funding, over 10 clinical trials—with more underway and two patents. Most importantly, they bring real hope for better treatments and brighter futures.
Together, we walk, run, and stand in Tiffany’s name not only to remember her, but to fight for every family still facing this disease. By supporting the Race to Cure Sarcoma, we help fuel research, raise awareness, and move closer to a future where sarcoma no longer steals the ones we love. Thank you for honoring Tiffany’s legacy and for being part of the hope that carries us forward.
