Tom del Pino, a proud FDNY firefighter and 9/11 survivor, was an extraordinary man who lived his life in service and remembrance.
Tom answered the call on September 11, 2001, and like so many heroes, he carried the weight of that day with him long after the smoke cleared. He not only survived 9/11, he spent years traveling with the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit to make sure no one else ever forgets it. Tragically, Tom succumbed to a 9/11-related cancer in September of last year. His passing is a profound loss to his family, friends, and to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Supporting Tunnel to Towers in his honor is our way of keeping his memory alive, as well as carrying forward his courage, service, and love for his country. Please help us honor his legacy by supporting a cause that meant so much to him.
Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes and their families.
