Our team proudly runs in honor of Port Authority Police Sergeant Lawrence A. Guarnieri. Sgt. Guarnieri passed away on November 4, 2014, from a 9/11-related illness as a result from his heroic work during the World Trade Center Rescue and Recovery. He served 27 years with the Port Authority Police Department and was a devoted husband, father, and friend.
Sgt. Guarnieri was, and always will be, our hero. Every step we take is in his honor and in support of the mission to Never Forget.
