The Greenville Humane Society is the second largest no-kill shelter in the southeast, just behind Atlanta. The proceeds from the Papa Johns Mutt Strutt go directly to helping care for over 4,000 animals annually. As a private 501(C)-3 non-profit, GHS relies on the support of their community through donations. Just $10 can feed one homeless animal for a day. Any donations are greatly appreciated and will go a long way to make better lives possible for pets in need!
Suki and her sister were tiny pups when they were originally brought to the Greenville Humane Society about 10 years ago. Not long after, they were both traumatically kidnapped one morning in a snatch, grab and getaway car scheme. The sisters were made famous and were pictured in the Greenville News. Following there successful return to the Greenville Humane Society, we fostered Suki for a week. But it is was within the first few seconds that we knew she was family. Since then she has rescued us every day for the last 10 years. Suki is a Siberian husky physically 50%, and personality 100%. She's a leaner, a hugger, a stubborn standing starer, a wanna-be sled dog, a beast of a lapdog, a drama queen, and the sweetest good girl. She and our family want to give back to the Greenville Humane Society for all the daily love that she has brought into our family. You go GIRL. You go Greenville Humane Society. THANK YOU ! !
