When it comes to my profession, I tend to relate most of my experiences to sports. I strive to be that “go-to” loan officer, one that performs extraordinary in the face of adversity—like the relief pitcher that is asked to get three outs with the bases loaded in a tie game, or the goalie that is protecting a one-goal lead in the final minutes of the third period. So, when I received a voicemail from a frantic prospect (well after business hours), I knew just what to do. I promptly returned her call, set up my computer at the kitchen table, and with my children hovering in the background, took their application, issued their pre-approval letter, and provided them a closing cost estimate for the home they had fallen in love with. During the pre-approval process, it was revealed that this family was being relocated to Metro Detroit from Wisconsin so they needed to get that offer accepted and the loan processed in the shortest amount of time possible. My team and I at Ross Mortgage sprang into action. We processed, underwrote, and closed their loan in record time. I might not always be able to take time away from my family or be able to get buyers into their homes within the usual 30 days. But in my 15 years of originating loans I have always taken pride in addressing the personal, and sometimes out of the ordinary, circumstances each and every potential client brings to me. I have made it my mission to always be cultivating my knowledge about the different loan products available so that I can educate my clients and referral partners on what's available and would work best for them. I am State Certified to teach 203k con-ed classes and take pride in the fact that I have been able to help many Veterans get into their own homes utilizing VA loans. From first-time buyers to sophisticated borrowers, purchasing your first home or refinancing your current home, I bring my diverse lending background to you as a consultant and team player.
