I am fundraising for Keep Punching, a cause that is deeply personal to me.

From a young age, Daron motivated himself during difficult times with the words “keep punching.” He learned the phrase from Sylvester Stallone, who autographed a media kit for him following the second Rocky movie. Years later, those words took on profound meaning. In 2010, Daron was diagnosed with brain cancer, and he faced the hardest fight of his life with incredible determination. For three years, he truly kept punching—not only working to stay healthy, but also striving to help find a cure.

In 2013, during the final year of his battle with glioblastoma, Daron and I founded Keep Punching. We were driven by the painful reality that while many promising brain cancer treatments exist, too few receive the funding needed to determine their effectiveness.

Keep Punching is a 100% volunteer-run organization dedicated to supporting brain cancer patients, families, healthcare providers, and researchers. Funds raised help patients and families in need, support providers pursuing integrative approaches to healing, and advance research into both traditional and complementary cancer therapies—always with the goal of improving outcomes and quality of life.
