Hello! My name is Gary Riggs. I grew up in Granger, Indiana, and attended Penn High School and then Indiana University where I studied business and history. I especially enjoy American history and learning about our nation’s Presidents. I still live in Granger, along with my lovely wife, Jen and our sons, Liam, Nolan, Cole & Brady. I enjoy being active (running, hiking) and collecting vinyl records!
My photography career began by taking pictures of things such as architecture, old cars (urban decay!) and my dog. I like to travel and began to discover new places through my lens. I also took advantage of shooting the beautiful and unique landscapes of nearby Notre Dame and Chicago. As my experience and interest grew, I expanded my efforts to begin working with people during special life moments. I love meeting new people, getting to know you and having the opportunity to tell your story through pictures.
I like to capture the love of a family or a young couple, the pride of a victorious athlete or high school senior, and the excitement surrounding a newborn baby or a special birthday.
