New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity (NOAHH) partners with hardworking, low-income families in New Orleans to construct safe, affordable homes. Enabling homeownership for those who may not qualify for traditional loans, the program requires stable employment, good or no credit, and a commitment to contribute volunteer hours. Supported by volunteers, donors, and partners, NOAHH addresses substandard housing challenges, making homeownership dreams a reality.  NOAHH's home repair program also preserves communities by offering crucial repairs for those in need. Additionally, leading in disaster recovery post-Hurricanes Katrina and Ida, NOAHH engages in response efforts for floods, tornadoes, and storms. The organization's Internship and Apprenticeship program empowers local youth for better employment, and the New Orleans ReStore sells new and donated goods and funds NOAHH programs.
