Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams!

Over the last 24 years, Girls on the Run of Southeastern Michigan has served more than 27,000 girls in southeastern Michigan and provided need-based scholarships to almost 9,000 local families. Since the pandemic our scholarship request rate has increased from 28% to 45%. Last school year alone, we awarded $125,706 in financial aid to 946 local families, as well as athletic wear and shoes to 305 children in need.
