This year, I am marking my 50th birthday in a way that feels especially meaningful by running the Live Like Bella® Superhero 5K on my birthday.
Turning 50 is a reminder of how fortunate many of us are to enjoy health and wellness. That is a blessing and it is also a responsibility. For me, this milestone is an opportunity to honor the memory of Bella Rodriguez-Torres and to support the families still fighting childhood cancer every day.
I have been best friends with Bella’s father, Raymond, since pre-kindergarten. Our families have grown up together, and Live Like Bella® has been part of our lives for many years. Celebrating my birthday by supporting Live Like Bella and honoring Bella’s victory through hope, resilience, and community simply makes sense.
Our family is proud to be a corporate sponsor of the 5k, and this year I also forming a team for the Annual Live Like Bella® Superhero 5K. Our goal is to expand participation, grow engagement, and bring more people into this incredible community.
