In New Jersey, and across the nation, long lines at food pantries are becoming an all too familiar sight during
these unprecedented times. Even before COVID-19 hit, nearly14% of New Jersey households—that’s 1 in
every 8 people and 1 in every 5 children—were already classified as food insecure.
