25th Annual Scrub Jay Races

Donation Goal: $54,000

Support the latest project of the Friends of Oscar Scherer!   Construction is underway on the Nature Center.  The screen room is being remodeled to expand the year-round, usable space of the Nature Center.  The interactive nature exhibits are being enhanced.  And a refresh/remodel of the Nature Center will update the entire space.  The project is estimated to cost $54,000.

The Friends of Oscar Scherer State Park (FOSP) is a 501c3 non-profit organization; officially designated a CSO – Citizen Support Organization by the Department of Environmental Protection. We operate under usual non-profit guidelines with DEP oversight because of the affiliation with the state park.

Our purpose is to raise funds from events and appropriate grants that can be used by Oscar Scherer State Park for projects and equipment purchases.
