2023 Live Big Challenge

What: 2023 Live Big Challenge

When: January 2023 - December 2023

Registration opens December 15th, 2022 and closes February 1st, 2023.

Description: The 2023 Live Big Challenge is a fun opportunity to keep your running/walking alive all year long! The challenge is to complete 12 races in 12 months. The race must be a 5K or higher. It can be here in Columbus, GA or anywhere else in the world. Triathlons count. Virtual races do not. Challenge yourself and have fun with it! Choose a distance you've never done before or run a race in a new state or do your first trail race! The point of the challenge is to run and race consistently, not to complete the challenge in a few months. (If you do more than 12 races awesome! - but we won't count it if you do them all in a few months and say I'm done). You have 1 month out of the year to make up for a month you missed. Document on social media with the tagline #livebigchallenge @bigdogfleetfeet. You'll be required to show proof of your races in order to receive your medal (in 2 parts). We'll let you know how to show proof after you've registered.

Award: The medal is a magnet with 2 sides and charms hanging down listing each month you've completed a race. You'll receive the 1st half of your medal at the Heatwave 5 Miler in July (if you've completed 6 races) and the 2nd half of your medal at the Big Dog Jingle in December (if you've completed 12 races).
