48th Anniversary - Welcome Year of the Horse!

L.A. Chinatown Firecracker Run Committee, Inc. (LACFRC) is a 501(C)(3) non profit organization with a non-salaried group of volunteers who donate their time and energy to organize and stage events and programs; promoting health, fitness, and cultural awareness to the greater Los Angeles community. All proceeds are reinvested in the community and surrounding areas in support of elementary schools and other non-profit organizations, providing service and programs that benefit local neighborhoods.

REGISTRATION GOODIES

ALL REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE:

• Custom designed Lunar New Year T-shirt specific to the participant’s registered event

• Custom Lunar New Year finisher medal

• Custom designed Goodie Bag

• Lunar New Year Race Bib

• One free beer at the Firecracker Beer Garden (21 years and older)

• Free Chow Mein Carbo-Load on Saturday from 10am-2pm

• Free bag check-in service available during the hours of the event for Bike participants on Saturday and Run participants who are Metro riders on Sunday. Participants are encouraged to use Metro and exit at Chinatown Station.

• Hydration stations on the courses and refreshments at the end of the course

• Access to Firecracker Festival booths from vendors, sponsors and community organizations that support the Firecracker event

Firecracker’s volunteers are the heart of the organization. Each year, hundreds of volunteers work with the Firecracker Committee to make the annual Run/Walk, Bike Rides, Kiddie Run and the PAW'er Dog Walk a success by generously donating their time and expertise to serve the local community.
