Fall 50 Fitness Virtual Challenge: Fueled by FAITH and Powered by PRAISE!
Hosted by The Active Faith Ministry at New Salem Baptist Church
Details:
Join us for a 50 mile virtual fall challenge! Walk, Run, Hike, Elliptical, or Bike 50 miles in any increment between the first day of fall September 22nd and Thanksgiving day November 27th.
Participation: FREE! We want EVERYONE to have the opportunity to participate and receive a T-shirt!
T-shirt included! You will have the option to "Opt Out" of a t-shirt if you would like to see more money raised for the Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) on the Gordon College Campus or you just do not want a shirt.
DONATIONS ENCOURAGED!! This event will be strictly donation based. Help us raise money for BCM by choosing to add a donation to your registration. All funds raised above event costs will be utilized to support the ongoing ministries at New Salem Baptist church and the Baptist Collegiate Ministries on the Gordon College campus with the purpose of reaching others to share the soul saving and life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:16-20
Ways you can donate:

- You want to donate but not sign up to participate: Click the DONATE button!
- You prefer to donate by cash or check: Submit cash or check to New Salem Baptist Church in an envelope CLEARLY marked for "Fall 50 Fitness challenge". Checks made payable to New Salem Baptist Church, memo line: Fall 50 Fitness Challenge Donation.
We encourage you to use this challenge as motivation to spend time with the Lord in prayer and thanksgiving while you accumulate your miles. We encourage you to be intentional about praying for a spirit of gratitude and thankfulness to God for the blessings in your life and your salvation through your Savior Jesus Christ. We encourage you to let this challenge motivate you to share what God has done in your life with those around you. By the end of the challenge you will have earned 50 miles and written down praises to the Lord to turn your heart toward Him as we enter this season of Thanksgiving! Join with a friend so you can encourage each other and share your testimonies of God’s goodness! Follow us on the Active Faith Facebook page for weekly encouragement and to post photos!

Once you register you will receive an email within 24 hours from NSBCactivefaithministry@gmail.com with your log form. This will also be the email to submit your completed log at the end of the challenge.
Psalm 100 is our scripture passage of focus for this challenge.
A Psalm of Thanksgiving
“Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. When you finish your miles submit an email copy of your completed log sheet to NSBCactivefaithministry@gmail.com by Monday, December 1st to have your name added to the finishers list. Email any photos you would like shared on the NSBC Active Faith Public FB page or share them to the page to encourage others and share your progress! When you complete your registration you will receive an email with the log sheet attached within 24 hours of registration. The email will come from NSBCactivefaithministry@gmail.com. Paper copies of the log sheet are available at New Salem Baptist Church on the connection center.

Wednesday December 3rd: 9-11, 1-3, 5-7
Saturday December 6th: 9-1
Sunday December 7th: 8-12 or 5-8
You can pick up your shirt and join us for church!
To arrange alternate pick up / not local shirt pick up contact us at NSBCactivefaithministry@gmail.com.
T-shirt deadline is November 10th. Anyone registering after November 10th at 11:59 PM will not receive a complimentary T-shirt.
