Twin Lakes Youth Triathlon

The annual Twin Lakes Youth Triathlon takes place on a beautiful and flat terrain perfect for young participants. Our swim section is closely monitored by numerous life guards and parents will have plenty of places to line-up on the run and bike courses to cheer on their young athletes. The course is closely contained to provide as many opportunities as possible to watch the progression of the race. The race will start and end at Twin Lakes Bible Camp.

Check-in at the transition area will start at 7:00 with opening ceremonies at 7:45.

The youth will be divided into two age groups.

• Junior (Age 5-10 – age as of race day) will swim 50 meters, bike 2 miles, and run .5 miles. May wear life jackets or flotation devices, but will not be eligible for overall awards.
• Senior (Age 11-16 – age as of race day) will swim 200 meters, bike 4 miles, and run 1 mile.

The award ceremony for the youth participants will be held approximately 20 minutes after the final athlete crosses the finish line. Medals will be presented to the top 3 boys and 3 girls in each of the following age groups:

• Junior racers 5-7 year olds
• Junior racers 8-10 year olds
• Senior racers 11-13 year olds
• Senior racers 14-16 year olds
