Description

The Hayden Lake Marathon takes runners through one of North Idaho’s most picturesque settings, with courses winding around the crystal-clear waters of Hayden Lake and through forests of towering pines. Featuring a Marathon, Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, and 5K, the event offers distances for every runner. Stunning lake views, peaceful country roads, and crisp autumn air make it a truly unforgettable racing experience.

Registration

Choose between four race distances in beautiful Hayden, ID. No day of race registration is allowed. Shirts and Medals are only guaranteed for participants registering more than 10 days before the race. Shirts and Medals are on a first come first serve basis for those registering less than 10 days before. If you are able to select a shirt size in registration, you will get a shirt. Once shirt sizes are sold out they will no longer be available in registration.

The Virtual Run sign up is available between 01/01/25 - 10/11/25. Virtual runners complete and submit their information anytime between 10/03/25 - 10/19/25 to the virtual results page located here. Virtual runners will have their items mailed to them shortly after the live race (10/11/25).
