Description
These fundraising events will have registration options for In-person or Virtual. The in-person event will be held at Forest Park’s historical Monkey House, 302 Sumner Avenue, Springfield, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 10am to 12:00pm. Our 5K is a USATF Certified Route. The virtual components will be held March 2nd through March 9th. Individuals and groups are encouraged to join our in-person 5K or our virtual event.

About the Springfield Rescue Mission
In 2023, the Springfield Rescue Mission (SRM) provided over 20,000 shelter beds, distributed 136,000 items of clothing and served 60,000 meals through our Emergency, Rehabilitation and Community Food Programs. SRM also distributed hundreds of thousands food items to community organizations and charities doing like-minded work.
Your partnership in the vital role SRM’s direct services have with the greatest impact for those in need can not be overstated. SRM invests significant time and energy into every individual who steps through the door. Likewise, SRM views your support of our 5K or 10K In-Person or Virtual Run/Walk as a significant investment in the lives of those we serve.
Pre-Registration Spaghetti Dinner
The Rescue Mission is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Pre-Registration Event on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Basketball Hall of Fame, 1000 Columbus Avenue in Springfield. This will be a time to pre-register, receive your race t-shirt, swag bag and visit our vendor tables, as well as enjoy a homemade spaghetti dinner.
Please plan to join us on this special night before our Run To End Homelessness 5k/10K Run/Walk. This will be an opportunity to have a fun night out with your family and enjoy our raffle prizes and music provided by The Q99.7! All proceeds from this event will benefit the Springfield Rescue Mission.
