S.A.F.E. 1 in 26 10K, 5K Run & Stroll is a family-friendly community event raising awareness and support for the 1 in 26 people who will be diagnosed with epilepsy during their lifetime. Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to join the 10K, 5K run, or stroll as we come together to advocate, educate, and inspire while supporting South Carolina's epilepsy community. Hosted by South Carolina Advocates For Epilepsy (S.A.F.E.), this event celebrates inclusion, awareness, and hope—one step at a time.

Packet pick up will be at Cannon Distillery (1734 Signal Point Rd, Charleston, SC 29412) on Friday, October 30, 4-7pm.  Packets may also be picked up during check-in on day of event.

RACE START LOCATION: STONO SHELTER
The S.A.F.E. 1 in 26 10K/5K & Stroll will begin at the Stono Shelter, located inside James Island County Park.

When entering the park, please let the gate attendants know you are participating in the S.A.F.E. 1 in 26 event. They will be happy to provide a park map if needed to help you locate the Stono Shelter.  There is no charge for you to enter the park.

Please plan to arrive early to allow time for parking, restrooms, and getting to the starting area.
