Subject: Important Update Regarding the Texas State Triathlon

Dear Triathlon Participants,

We're writing to you today with an important update regarding the Texas State Triathlon scheduled for Sunday, September 7th, 2025. Due to unforeseen circumstances outside of our control, we are no longer able to hold the event at the Meadows Center in San Marcos, TX.

We understand this news is disruptive and inconvenient, and we sincerely apologize for the impact this has on your training, travel, and accommodation plans. We've been working hard to find a new solution to ensure the event can still happen.

We are pleased to announce that we have secured a new name and venue: The TXTRI (Previously held) at Canyon Park at Canyon Lake, TX. We have also set a new date for the event: Sunday, November 9th, 2025. This will be a closed loop course in the beautiful Canyon Park.

The new venue at Canyon Lake is approximately 20 miles from the original location. The surrounding area offers a variety of amenities and activities. For those needing to adjust accommodation plans, we recommend looking into the nearby cities of New Braunfels and Gruene, which offer numerous lodging options and a wide range of activities and attractions.

We will be updating the event page and sending updated information about the venue and added benefits to this change.

You now have three options regarding your registration:

• Transfer your registration to the rescheduled event on November 9th, 2025, at Canyon Park.
  
  
• Defer your registration to next year’s event/a different event.
  
  
• Continue as Virtual (get the shirt and medal)
  
  
• Donate your entry to the TXSTRI Club
  
  
• Request a full refund.

Please reply to this email by August 22nd, 2025 with your decision. If we do not hear from you by this date, we will automatically transfer your registration to the new event date.

FYI- filling out this survey will not automatically change your registration. We are collecting your choices and you will either receive further instructions or we will make the changes by August 25th.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility, and we will provide additional updates as they become available to you. We are confident that Canyon Park will provide an excellent race experience, and we look forward to seeing you in November!
