The Brisben Center's mission is to provide temporary shelter and equip residents for employability to resolve poverty and obtain housing.
Micah Ministries:
Micah is uniquely organized as a collaboration of churches working together under one nonprofit umbrella. Their congregations have been involved in caring for unhoused neighbors for nearly 40 years.
Empowerhouse:
Empowerhouse establishes a safe space for survivors of domestic violence and their children to believe in themselves and build new lives filled with dignity, respect, safety, and hope.
Our Military Kids
A national 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering extracurricular activity grants to children and teens of deployed National Guard, deployed Reserve, or post-9/11 combat wounded, ill, or injured Veterans in treatment. OMK activity grants build the children's self-confidence, enhance family wellness, and strengthen a shared sense of community.
Leashes of Valor:
Founded by a combat-wounded veteran in 2017, Leashes of Valor sources dogs from animal shelters and rescue groups whenever possible, improving the lives of both veterans and dogs.
The Wilderness Community Church Food Pantry:
The Wilderness Community Church food pantry serves everyone from low income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, working poor, and anyone else in need of our assistance.
Squishy Face Crew:
Squishy Face Crew is organized around connecting foster families and adopters in the Fredericksburg area and beyond with dogs and cats who have found themselves in a shelter.

ADULT
700 meter swim in lake, 12.4 mile bike ride, and 5 km run.
YOUTH
10-15 years old: 225 meter pool swim, 6.2 mile bike ride, and 2 km run
6-11 years old: 75 meter pool swim, 3.1 mile bike ride, and 1 km run

Volunteers
On behalf of the Race Director Team and all of our Triathletes, thank you for your time. Our goal is to put on a first class race and without you that just can't happen. This year all volunteers will receive a voucher for free pair of socks from Fleet Feet Fredericksburg* Plus we are adding great door prizes just for Volunteers from Fleet Feet, Hoka, Altra and Oofos. . Finally we have reviewed our volunteer plan. We have eliminated many positions and consolidated others. In the next day or two we will publish a revised Volunteer Assignment Detail Plan (Here)
