Holland Haven Marathon
Experience the stunning shoreline of Lake Michigan as you run from Grand Haven to Holland in this USATF-certified, point-to-point marathon. The scenic course follows Lakeshore Drive, passing charming summer cottages and offering breathtaking lake views, before finishing in the heart of downtown Holland.

Held in early September, the event features mild, runner-friendly weather—making it an ideal final opportunity to qualify for the Boston Marathon, just one day before registration opens.

Open to runners ages 16 and up.

Holland Haven Half Marathon
Starting at Camp Geneva along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline, this scenic, one-way race takes runners down Lakeshore Drive, past sandy beaches and along paved bike paths bordering Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa. The mostly flat and fast course continues into the vibrant City of Holland, offering a unique experience unlike any other in West Michigan.

This point-to-point event brings communities together in a truly memorable race.

Open to runners ages 12 and up.

Holland Haven 8K
The Holland Haven 8K is the perfect introduction to longer distance racing. This flat, out-and-back course offers a mid-distance challenge that’s approachable for beginners yet still rewarding for seasoned runners.

Whether you're aiming for a personal best, running with kids, or enjoying the course as an 8K walk, this race is a fun and flexible option for all.

Open to participants ages 8 and up.

Virtual Run
Can’t make it to the live event? Join the Holland Haven Virtual Run and complete the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, or 8K on your own schedule, anywhere you choose. Whether you run through your neighborhood, walk local trails, or hop on a treadmill, you can participate your way.
