In addition to our on-site Pre-Race Briefings the weekend before the race, we have partnered with our friends at Fury Tri Team to offer some exclusive event preparation options for participants. Each of the options listed below are only available for participants registered for the race and can purchased as add-ons to registration. Add-ons can either be purchased while registering or can be purchased after you've completed registration through your race profile. Click HERE for details about how to manage your race add-ons.
Pre race clinics will aim to help prepare athletes to race with confidence. Certified triathlon coaches with Fury Tri Team will teach step-by-step how to set up transition, race each component of the event confidently and safely, know how to handle the transitions between each leg of the race efficiently, and finish strong. Our goal is to help athletes know exactly what to expect, how to make their race run smoothly, and to feel confident going into the race.
Pre-race clinics will be held in the Typhoon Texas parking lot starting at 8am on the date you select when register. There will be multiple clinics through the summer and we'll follow up about a week before each clinic with additional details. For the list of available dates check out the SCHEDULE OF EVENTS page.
To ensure the best possible experience, we are limiting each clinic to a maximum of 25 participants.
There is a cost associated to produce the clinic but all proceeds go to the Financial Assistance Program! If you or someone you know would like to participate but your financial situation doesn't allow it, please reach out and let us know. We don't want the financial commitments of preparing for or participating in youth multi-sport events to be a barrier to entry for any child who wants to explore the sport of triathlon.
