Covid-19
We are committed to having a safe, healthy, in-person race for the 2022 Tulsa Federal Credit Union Tulsa Run. With that in mind, we are asking our participants and volunteers to adhere to a few guidelines to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The changes to the participant policies include:
- If an individual tests positive or has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 7 days of the event, they are asked not to participate in the race.
- All race volunteers will be asked to wear appropriate PPE while working with race participants
- The corral will be lengthened, and race participants are asked to socially distance as much as possible while waiting for the race start.
- On race day, if an individual is experiencing symptoms of a respiratory illness such as coughing, fever of 100.4 or higher, headache and sore throat, they are asked not to participate in the race.
- Masks are required during packet pickup and are encouraged any time you are unable to socially distance from those around you on race day.
- Water stops will practice social distancing and have hydration pre-portioned for runners to pick up.
- Participants and spectators are expected to follow best practices on personal hygiene, covering your mouth when coughing or sneezing, handwashing and social distancing.
