Run Captain - Check in at 5:30 am with Volunteer Captain. On Race Day the Run Captain will meet with the volunteers at 7:00 am at the Volunteer Check In Tent to make sure that all posts are covered and will work closely with the Volunteer Captain and the Race Director from 6 – 7:15 a.m. if there are any gaps. During race, Run Captain checks on volunteers, provides support.

Bike Directional Only - Check in at 6:30am with Volunteer Captain. Direct participants on the bike course. 6:45 am - Meet with The Bike Captain (at Volunteer Check in Tent) for information on your BIKE COURSE monitor location. You will need to provide your own transportation to get to your bike location. Bike volunteers are responsible for directing participants,   Police will be with you to direct traffic, where needed.

Transition Captain - Check in at 5:15 am with Volunteer Captain. A knowledgeable experienced triathlete is great for this job. Must make sure ATHLETES ONLY are entering the TRANSITION AREA and your job is to assist participants find their bike racks and answer any questions they may have.  Direct transition volunteers to help with bike mount/dismount and run in/out.

Transition All Day - Check in at 6:00 am with Volunteer Captain. Then report to Transition Area Captain in transition area. Help participants find their correct bike rack and set up their bike. Keep spectators OUT and keep participants from getting their bikes out when others are still participating. Answer questions and point participants toward BIKE OUT and RUN OUT as necessary.

You will be in charge of all areas of the Finish Line under the supervision and direction of the Race Director and Volunteer Captain. This includes Finish Line Set Up (with assistance of other volunteers): water bottle set up, finisher keepsake set up, timing chip finisher box set up and then working the finish line until the race is over.
