Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon & 1/2 Marathon, Jesse Owens 5K, 1 Mile & Kids Run

Dear Family and Friends,

I am so excited and honored to participate as a Children's Champion in partnership with the Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon &1/2 Marathon. Now, more than ever, the dollars we raise are critical. So many of us are experiencing challenges like we have never faced in our lifetime and, as you can imagine, Nationwide Children’s Hospital is no exception. 

On Monday, April 28, 2025, my son Billy had his 7th hip surgery at Nationwide Children's Hospital.  This time, a total hip replacement.  We owe so much to NCH and the care he has received since 2013.  Running the marathon and fundraising as a Children's Champion has become an annual event, my way of saying "thank you" to the orthopedics department.

My personal fundraising goal for this program is $1,000. Any contribution you can make is greatly appreciated and will make a difference in the lives of children and families worldwide. Nationwide Children's Hospital is proud to treat patients from 50 states and over 60 countries.
