Most people never experience love at first sight, but I was blessed to have encountered it eighteen years ago. I never imagined my first true love would be with a uniquely haired almost all black puppy, but it was. Some said Cole was unattractive, but in my eyes, he was stunning. Not just physically beautiful, but also radiating inner beauty. Cole and I shared an incredible love story, growing up together through four houses, relationships, the birth of a child, marriage, new jobs, and so much more. Amidst chaos, he remained my constant source of comfort, protection, and friendship. We were each other's rock, willing to sacrifice everything for one another. Cole gave me his all, and I gave him the gift of a peaceful passing, surrounded by love and comfort in our home. Though I miss my best friend dearly, I would relive our journey in a heartbeat. Thank you, Cole, for being my guiding light in turbulent times and my loyal companion. It was an honor to be your person. May you now run free, my love.
