I miss my MLM (this is what I called her) tremendously. She was ICONIC. I adored and admired her. I looked up to her. I truly believe I met an angel on Earth. Hands down the best cousin ever. I am so heartbroken and I don’t wish this pain on anyone. I cry every single day. The With Hope Foundation has been carrying me and my family since May. The Foundation's Friends With Hope Suicide Bereavement Support Group is the reason I am even functional today. I am so so grateful for the group and the work With Hope Foundation does. With Hope Foundation annually provides highly successful educational programs on Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention to over 10,000 students, parents, teachers, staff, and community members. The programs are designed to educate, equip and empower individuals in recognizing the warning signs of suicide and to provide them with resources for critical lifesaving intervention. Additionally, they provide grief support through Friends With Hope Suicide Bereavement Support Group. They provide individual counseling resources and referrals for individuals dealing with the traumatic loss of a loved one to suicide who are at an increased risk for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and suicide.
