Some of you may be aware when I was in 4th grade, I decided I wanted to look like Martina McBride... yes... a middle aged woman who was a rocking country singer. I didn't want to just cut my hair to match her good looks, but because my anthem at the time was "This One's For the Girls" - the jam that never quits.
So, I dedicate this triathlon spring to the girls. Because all young women deserve equality, an opportunity to for a better future so that we can have strong, brilliant women as leaders that girls can look up to year after year.
