My Godfather Uncle John (my dude) has been my hero for my entire life, well before he became a hero to millions more as a first responder during 9/11. He was the “I know a guy” guy for everyone and his love of his community and even greater love of his family is something I will forever cherish and strive to emulate. Following the T2T mantra, “While we have time, Let us do good,” our family is running/walking in honor of a man that did so much good. He was taken from us way too soon but we understand his part of the mission of life was complete and it’s our turn to keep pushing his love and his desire to help forward.
