Hi, I’m Whitney, and I’m so excited to be a part of this team supporting the Autism Society of Tidewater. I wanted to share a bit about why this cause is so important to me.
I’ve seen firsthand how autism affects individuals and their families. My son, JoJo, was diagnosed with autism. Although he has overcome many challenges, over the years, I’ve witnessed the challenges other families face in finding the right resources and support. It’s heartbreaking to see how difficult it can be to access the resources that make a real difference in their lives, from early intervention programs to social skills training and advocacy efforts.
That’s why I’m so passionate about supporting the Autism Society of Tidewater. This organization works tirelessly to provide the resources, support, and community that families desperately need. They help create a world where individuals with autism are understood, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
By joining this fundraiser, I’m hoping to help provide more opportunities for families and individuals who are navigating life with autism. Every donation—no matter how big or small—will help provide vital services and create a more inclusive, supportive community.
